Lesson: Jesus Cleanses Ten Lepers

The story of Jesus Cleansing the Ten Lepers. Jesus was walking towards Jerusalem on the road that was between Samaria and Galilee. As he walked along this road, he decided to enter a village where he met ten lepers from a distance. These ten lepers shouted, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” Jesus looked at them and said, “Go and show yourself to the priest.” And as they traveled to see the priests, they became clean. One leper out of ten, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, shouting praises to God. He fell on his face at Jesus’s feet, giving him thanks. Jesus replied, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God expect this foreigner?” Jesus then answers him saying, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well”.

3.      How many came back to give thanks to the Lord?

4.      How did the one leper show his thankfulness to Jesus for the healing?

Before God took him away, Enoch was commended as one who pleased God (Hebrews 11:5)
